Our Editorial Standards
Before any calculator goes live or any article is published, we check it against three rules:
- Is it accurate? Numbers must match LIC’s official premium tables.
- Is it useful? Would a 35-year-old in Indore or a retiree in Kochi actually understand this?
- Is it honest? If a plan has high premiums and low returns, we say so.
If we make a mistake — and we have, once or twice — we correct it within 48 hours and note the change at the bottom of the page.
